The Corporate Solutions Team at Blackbaud is dedicated to helping companies do more good in the world. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic sales professional who will have immediate impact on business growth, while working with some of our most recognizable brands to help them deliver on their Corporate Social Responsibility programs with Blackbaud’s market leading solutions. One of our core values is partnership, which means a Corporate Solutions account executive will be a product evangelist, be a diligent team player and will commit to creating relationships, to designing solutions with corporations, and to growing our customers in the Global Good Network.
The right team member should have experience with product launches into new markets and be well-rounded, flexible, and results oriented. You’ll be completely immersed in our company’s operations as we continue to evolve our intuitive technology that helps companies connect with their employees and the causes they care about most. You will be expected to provide valuable industry insights to your prospects while positioning our solution. Our sales executives set the tone for first impressions, and we’ve built a reputation we’d like to keep.
We are a tight-knit team, but we also expect you to work independently, without constant guidance or oversight. You have the opportunity to add tremendous value and we expect you to fully take charge of that opportunity.
What you’ll be doing:
- Qualifying, pursuing and closing opportunities for our Corporate software solutions
- Establishing and maintaining key account relationships
- Serving as prospective clients' main point of contact and working with other departments as needed to provide answers and service
- Providing return on investment (ROI) solutions in the form of product and service proposals
- Continuously updating and maintaining active deals for pipeline management, daily activity and forecast data
- Staying up-to-date as it relates to the markets which impact products or services
- Reaching and exceeding monthly and quarterly quota
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) experience preferred, not required
What we'll want you to have:
- Bachelor's degree or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of successful sales experience is required, preferably selling experience in an IT or software (SaaS) environment
- Business development & growth driven mentality
- Superior communication skills with the ability to make clear, compelling and value-focused sales presentations
- A strong work ethic and goal-oriented attitude is required
- Proven success in creating effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Excellent time-management skills with the discipline to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced, structured selling environment
