The Sr Financial Analyst will play a critical role in by providing broad-based support to Sales in support of our strategic initiative to drive greater excellence and effectiveness in our sales organization.  The ideal candidate is both strategic and action oriented and thrives on being part of a fast-paced, fun, and results-driven team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support and influence key operational and strategic decisions
  • Key member of our Corporate Go To Market (GTM) Finance Team
  • Advise on key business planning assumptions, prioritization, trade-offs, and opportunities
  • Key participant in bookings planning function, including creating and maintaining key models
  • Drive analyses for executive leadership and business leaders
  • Interpret, explain and drive performance within the business, including key variance explanation
  • Collaborate across functions including finance, sales, marketing and leadership
  • Drive the collection and distribution of KPIs and reporting required to drive Sales GTM. Partner with the Sales Leadership to take advantage of new opportunities or correct under-performance.
  • Lead headcount management across all of sales organization and push to full automation with BI team into Qlink dashboard
  • Drive process of moving reporting to Qlik dashboards with internal BI team
  • Interpret and present industry, competitor, and economic assessments in collaboration with the appropriate parties
  • Drive timely & accurate management reports to GMs and other business leadership as required.
  • Review & preparation of financial performance, including analysis, commentary, and explanation of key deviations
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights on specific issues
  • Interpretation and explanation of financial information for the Management team

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; Master's Degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of overall job experience that includes experience within a business (Finance) function with business analysis or business performance improvement activity required
  • Experience in a SAAS/IAAS/PAAS finance role preferred
  • Expert Excel proficiency
  • Has a strong grasp of financial statements, accounting proficiency, and 3 statement modeling
  • Hands-on financial professional possessing outstanding technical and analytical skills; internal control experience essential
