Cloud Security Senior Architect - R0008155

At Blackbaud, a Cloud Security Senior Architect is expected to partner with internal business units, product teams and solution providers to identify, and propose secure architectural design for our cloud environment. Identify complex security issues within cloud subscriptions and resources. In this position, you will also partner with other Blackbaud architects to drive and improve the security controls.  As a Cyber Security team member, you will be participating in a diverse and agile organization and will be expected to build relationships with business, product teams, and senior leadership.

What you will be doing:

• Design architectural solutions that meet and exceed industry best practices within security
• Develop security designs, reference architectures, and guidelines for operating within secure cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
• Working closely with application, infrastructure, networking, and security teams to serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on various topics related to cloud security.
• Monitoring cloud resources and technologies with capability to provide security recommendations prior to business use.
• Monitoring the general security landscape and researching current trends in the industry to optimize and align our Cyber Security processes to their respective reference frameworks.
• Identifying and implementing solutions to complex cloud security problems.

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years of experience with Cyber Security
• 4+ years of experience as cloud security architect
• Cloud certifications showing security expertise (ex: CCSK, CCSP, Microsoft Security Engineer, etc).
• Advanced understanding of cloud security architecture and frameworks (ex: NIST, CIS, etc).
• Proficient in secure connectivity methods to cloud resources (ex: Azure Storage Account SAS connection process/AWS S3).
• Proficient in cloud encryption technologies including key management such as (KMS, HSM, etc).
• Proficient with containerization and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with incident response processes.
• Familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication solutions and ExpressRoute architecture.
• Extensive leadership skills, including the ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively across multiple business groups with clear intent.
