Remote SC, USAThe Corporate Solutions Sales team at Blackbaud is dedicated to helping companies do more good in the world. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic sales professional who can step in to our Corporate market and have immediate impact on business growth through Blackbaud's market leading grants management solutions, all while working with the most recognizable brands to help them deliver on their Community Investment programs. The right team member should have experience partnering with organizations to connect technology to longer term vision and be well-rounded, flexible, and results oriented. You’ll be completely immersed in our company’s operations as we continue to evolve our intuitive technology that helps companies connect with their employees and the causes they care about most. You will be expected to provide valuable industry insights to your prospects while positioning our solution. Our sales executives set the tone for first impressions, and we’ve built a reputation we’d like to keep.
We are a tight-knit team, but we also expect you to work independently, without constant guidance or oversight. You have the opportunity to add tremendous value and we expect you to fully take charge of that opportunity.
What you’ll be doing:
Qualifying, pursuing and closing opportunities for our Corporate Grants software solutions
Establishing and maintaining key account relationships
Collaborate with the Corporate Sales Team to assist with upsells, while also owning & driving growth of Blackbaud’s Grants solutions in the Corporate market
Providing return on investment (ROI) solutions in the form of product and service proposals
Continuously updating and maintaining active deals for pipeline management, daily activity and forecast data
Staying up-to-date as it relates to the markets which impact products or services
Reaching and exceeding monthly and quarterly quota
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and/or Grants Management experience preferred but not required
What we'll want you to have:
Bachelor's degree or related field and/or equivalent experience
5 - 10 years of successful sales experience is required, preferably selling experience in an IT or software (SaaS) environment
Business development & growth driven mentality
Superior communication skills with the ability to make clear, compelling and value-focused sales presentations
A strong work ethic and goal-oriented attitude is required
Proven success in creating effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales quotas
Excellent time-management skills with the discipline to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced, structured selling environment
