Customer Finance Representative Responsibilities:  

  • Confers with customers by telephone or email in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, and secure payment 
  • Records information about collection status of customer and status of collection efforts 
  • Issues and applies credits to customer accounts according to established procedures 
  • Works closely with internal customers to resolve customer inquiries 
  • Daily and weekly reporting of results 
  • Assists with customer disputes to the proper channels in a timely responsive manner and follow up when needed.

Requirements: 

  • 2 years of job experience with proven experience in collections and customer service.
  • Must be detail oriented with great communication and organizational skills.  
  • Must be committed to maintaining a responsive organization. 
  • Must be independent with working remotely and with minimum supervision.
  • Must have word processing experience and confidence when manipulating an Excel spreadsheet.
  • English speaking 100%.
  • Schedule availability as this position will work mainly with Australia in a schedule Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm.
  • Minimum High School degree – preferably with University studies or coursing a related career (admin, accounting, finance, etc.).

Candidate must be located in Costa Rica and must comply with legal work permit requirements - Blackbaud has a remote work environment in Costa Rica
